T O P I C R E V I E Wsapper82Has anyone else read this book? (authors - Pellegrino and Stoff). It's very choppy but seems to contain quite a bit of detail. I've haven't read Tom Kelly's book yet, but could anyone offer a comparison? Are there any other books out there that deal with LMs?Cheers,------------------Andrew B. Godefroy, MA, FBISOntario, CanadarandyHaving read both, 'Moon Lander' by Tom Kelly is definitely better.NC Apollo FanI would agree with Randy. I enjoyed both of them but found Moon Lander to be the better of the two.Jonathansapper82I had a chance to finish this book the other day and found that it got better towards the end. I was a bit surprised how it just glossed over Apollo 14-17, though, and found that disappointing.I was interested in the glossary at the end, in particular the notes on artifacts. I was surprised to learn the fate of some of the LMs.Cheers,Max QSome time ago I read Chariots for Apollo by Charles R Pellegrino & Joshua Stoff, an absolutely amazing insight to the behind the scenes of the space program. I was wondering if there was a CM book that is as well written and if so what's it called?divemaster quote:Originally posted by Max Q:Some time ago I read Chariots for Apollo by Charles R Pellegrino & Joshua Stoff, an absolutely amazing insight to the behind the scenes of the space program. We are putting together interviews with Retirees, gathering old photos, written materials and artifacts. We even have received old polaroids of the teams in front of the finished spacecraft in the Bldg. 290 white room- much like we have seen at Grumman.Me even have gotten some good solid gossip on the old days!J.M.
